Framework

Founded on the principle of inter-faculty cooperation, special conditions apply to the PhD fellowships offered within the framework of the SHARE initiative.

All the PhD fellows can be registered with a relevant research education programme within one of the Graduate Schools at the University of Copenhagen.

A fellowship should include supervision from at least three parties. A minimum of two faculties should be involved in the supervision and work. Thus, the principal supervision, which shall reside at the faculty where the PhD student is enrolled, must be completed by co-supervision from at least one other faculty or industrial partner participating.

If an industrial partner is involved, then the PhD student should spend at least 6 months in the industry setting.
